Hallo,

working with sisulizer we have sometimes absolute pathes in project and export files and sometimes no path but only file names of dlls and exes. Could you please explain when the absolute pathes are included and when not?

I feel it's better for us not to have any pathes in slp and xlf, but only the dll names.
We generate the dlls on a separate computer and the directories here are not the same as by translators.

So what can a translator do to ensure that there will be no absolute pathes in files he wants deliver? Or what way of working with pathes would you suggest?

Sincerely

Hi,

In the SLP Sisulizer stores relative paths if the files are on the same physical drive. For the GUI it calculates absolute paths and shows them this way.

You can look into the .slp using a text editor to see what is actually stored.

Because Sisulizer use relative paths:
- paths to sources located in this same folder as project aren't displayed (displayed are only file names)
- paths to sources located in other folders are displayed in project as relative paths
- paths to sources located in folders on other drives are displayed as full paths (Sisulizer needs to know drive letter).
