I'm using slmake.exe to build ressource dll's for English, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. When running the slmake tool I get the following message for the Danish.dll creation: "Because project does not contain any resources the satellite assembly file was not created." A far as I can see there is no difference in the way the four languages are added so is Danish not build when the rest build ok? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated,- thanks. Peter

Can you upload your Sisulizer project file (.slp) to me. Click Private Update to send the file. BTW. Do you get same message when you build using Sisulizer.exe? Jaakko

OK, thanks. Could you perform following test? Open your Sisulizer's project, go to "Project" menu -> "Edit source" -> your source -> "Options" tab and set "Items that localized resource files contain" setting as "All". Next save project and try use SlMake tool with this modified project. Let me know about results. Best regards, Janusz

Thanks a lot for your comments and suggestions. Same error when using Sisulizer.exe. Turns out that all .resx files were read only. After removing the read only attribute it builded the danish dll as well. However all .resx files were read only but it was only Danish that failed building. Strange. Also because we pipe the result from slmake.exe to a text file (slmake ep.slp > res.txt) we never see the read only errors as they are only showed on the screen.

This read only error was not properly catched in our code. This is why it did not go to log and it aborted that language build. I fixed it. Now the error is catched and logged properly.
