I imagine that I can Clone my Firebird database - however I do not see the Clone Original Database option in the database sheet when I try and create a project based on my FDB file.

Why is this?

My DB is a single DB file.  I tried

 Hi,

To clone a database Sisulizer needs to be able to copy the file and then open the new database file directly. The comment about the single file is a bit unsharp since most SQL-Servers also store the data in a single file. But you connect to a server which openes the file. While with Access you open the file directly like you open a spread sheet.

While Access is file based Firebird is server based.

Hope this helps to see the difference

 I am working on new feature that will enabled database cloning for server based databases. The current SL support only Access (there is an error on documentation about Interbase).

The new feature is almost ready but did not make into 309. It will be in build 310.
