1. I first tried to import as glossaries - that told me there were zero entries. (I have put the start of a glossary file below for reference).

2. So I then imported as CSV. It told me it imported 765 entries. But it never prompted me to confirm which columns it was pulling from which has me worried as to what it is using.

3. I can't find anyplace to go view the translations pairs it has to review against the original spreadsheet.

4. If I select multiple csv files at once, does it apply them in the order selected and using the first one it finds a translation in?

??? - thanks - dave

Hello,

I first tried to import as glossaries - that told me there were zero entries. (I have put the start of a glossary file below for reference).
Microsoft Glossary file import format is for Microsoft new glossary file format where each line contains the string in several languages and each columns are separated by tab. If your imported file contains one language pair separated by comma (,) characters, you should use Comma Separated Value file as import format.

So I then imported as CSV. It told me it imported 765 entries. But it never prompted me to confirm which columns it was pulling from which has me worried as to what it is using.
If you use CSV as import format you should see in next step of Import Wizard dialog where you can set original and translation language (look on attached screenshot). If language pair doesn't match with languages in your SLP, Sisulizer doesn't import anything.

I can't find anyplace to go view the translations pairs it has to review against the original spreadsheet.
Current Sisulizer build hasn't implemented feature for preview of imported file.

If I select multiple csv files at once, does it apply them in the order selected and using the first one it finds a translation in?
If you select multiple files and those files contain different translations for this same original string, Sisulizer use translation from last file based on alphabetical order.

Janusz
