Hello everyone! I have a slight problem (perhaps). I have an HTML Help file (SDK reference) which I try to translate into another language with Sisulizer. Some HTML pages have source code examples enclosed in <pre class"code"><code class"monospace">Source code sample</code></pre>. So it appears that Sisulizer has removed some line breaks (an white space critical for the source code indentation) from my code and did not parse it line by line... So my source code example look weird... line breaks removed... choosing to use original as translation does not help... Manually inserting line breaks is rather daunting and may cause too many errors... Is there any way to fix I automatically without starting new project (may be some options some kind of "leave all pre tags alone", etc??? Last edited on Tue May 13th, 2008 10:39 am by vvk80 |

Thare was a bulg in SL. Only texts immediately inside <pre> ... </pre> tags were preformatted (spaces and line breaks saved). If there was a new tag between them the texts were formated (spaces and line breaks removed)
In "Hello world" spaces and line breaks were removed In "Hello you" spaces and line breaks were removed (this was a bug) In "Hello again" spaces and line breaks were saved I fixed the "Hello you" case. Are you using <pre> tags over <code> tags in each case? I can also implement an option that forces <code> tags to save spaces and line breaks too. These will be in the next build. With the current version you can't exclude tags. I will implement a possibility to do that later. Within a month. best regards Ilkka

Thanks a lot man!!! This is a very great feature. I think a feature that will allow to force tags to save spaces will be a need. However I think that it should be implemented as an option which can be turned off/on for each apperance of the tag. So, as far as I understand I will have to wait for the next release. And when I install this release all spaces and line breaks will be treated normally in my existent (current) project??? Or I will have to perform some extra action to make it work as it expected to??? By the way thanks for a great support!

Yes, you have to wait for the new build (1.6.28). It will become out later on this week. Just install it and rebuild your localized HTML files. In that build the setting are global for all tags, but I will but tag specific options to my TODO list.

The easiest way to get a notice about new updates is to subscribe our newsletter: http://www.sisulizer.com/support/mailinglist.shtml As soon as a new update is online it sends a message. There is a max delay of an hour. Hope this helps. Best Markus
