We're still evaluating Sisulizer and now we're looking at the .NET side of things.
My developer colleague has quickly written a small app to test the way of doing things in C# and we have a couple of concerns and questions (screenshots are in the attached Zip file).

1. When initially importing the files into the new Sisulizer project we get warning messages saying the .NET sdk cannot be found and to enter the path to it (see Warnings.jpg). However, the path is set (see Settings.jpg) and the SDK is present where it says it is.

2. After creating the project, the view of the dialog box (See SisuProject.jpg) seems to have moved linkLabel1, radioButton1, radioButton2, & TextBox1 (see TestApp.jpg for how it should look).

I can also send the small test application if that helps.

Regards,
Chris

Can you send me TranslateApp.exe and TraslateLibrary.dll and you Sisulizer project file (.slp) to

support (at) sisulizer.fi

If you can send the source code too (.csproj, .cs and .resx) it would be good.

Jaakko

Hello Chris,
About your first question:
This is result of incorrectly path to SDK directory. Try change it to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A . If this doesn't work, try to find on your PC Al.exe file, AL.exe should be there where you have your SDK.

Hello Chris,
About your second question:
After opening your sample project on my PC, I've got in Sisulizer WYSIWYG editor result identical with your TestApp.jpg screenshot. Look on below screenshot:

I did the same. I opened your project using Sisulier build 272 and I could see the label and two radio buttons misplaced on form editor. Then I rescanned the project (Project | Scan for changes). After that those buttons were on the right positions.

- Download the newest version (272).
- Run Sisu.exe to update your Sisulizer
- Open your project
- Rescan it

The order of tab sheets is reversed (3-2-1 instead 1-2-3) but I am working on it now.

Regarding the SDK, it seems we don't normally install this. We have Visual Studio installed and the developer is curious about what is needed from the SDK? Anyway I installed the SDK and that fixed it.
I downloaded Build 272 (I was using 270) and that seems to have fixed the other problem, apart from the tabs being reversed which you are working on.

Regards,
Chris

Hello,

Thank you for information. Sisulizer require .NET 2.0 because .NET 3.0 and 3.5 uses .NET 2.0 as a base directory. Most of the tools and classes are actually .NET 2.0's ones, but Visual Studio couldn’t to contain v2.0 at all or directory could be empty. Why? It seems to me that is next Microsoft secret:q. Below is link to our forum topic about .NET SDK path issues: http://forum.sisulizer.com/view_topic.php?id=609&forum_id=4&highlight=sdk

Best,
janusz
