It appears that the column sorting is not working in the Validation Results tab.

i.e. if you click on the column headings in the view, the results should be sorted by that column but they appear to be random.

Hello,

I tested this issue and you are right, after click in headers, Sisulizer change sort order only for some items on list. I will forward it to our R&D.

Best,
Janusz

The basic sort order is fixed. Well done!

However there appears to be 2 minor issues with this area.

1) If you have the result list sorted and then you perform a re-validation then the new results list is not initially sorted according to the sort column indicated by the triangle/chevron. You always need to click on the heading to get the results list to be sorted. The program should be changed to either sort the list intially thereby always obeying the sort column shown OR the sort column should not display a triangle/chevron when the list is not sorted.

2) When changing the Sort order by clicking on a column header, the hilighted item in the results list, changes to the first item in the newly sorted list. However, this item is NOT the one that is currently selected in the tree or preview window. Clicking on this hilighted item does not update the other views; you need to select a different row and then select the item again in order to get the initial item to be shown in the other views. What presumably should happen is that the result list should try to keep the same item selected OR should handle the case where no item is selected in the results list (this would prevent the other views changing as a result of running a validation etc.).

Hi,

You are right, I reproduced both reported issues and I'll forward it to our developers.

Best,
Janusz

Well done! I've tested this in Version 2008 (Build 275) and it is now working as expected.
Thanks.
