In the Original column, the original strings show up, not the Alternative Original language as defined in the project. Therefore, I need to filter and copy/paste strings in Excel which is a bit annoying for large projects. (Filter empty English translation, copy English strings onto the Original strings.) Best regards, Christine

Hello, Alternative Original feature is internal Sisulizer feature and other localization tools doesn't support it, and for this reason Alternative Original option is available in Exchange Wizard because targeted software for export is also Sisulizer, but not for export to TMX or Excel file, because for these export method targeted software are usually other tools without support Alternative Original feature. Because Alternative Original is always existing translation language you could insert this language column as first column in Excel sheet, however I'll ask our R&D about possibility implementing of sort order changing for exported languages. Dear Janusz, the problem is that not all Original strings are translated in English, leaving empty cells in the English column. I don't see a compatibility issue with other programs: If English is my alternative Original, then English strings should "overwrite" all original strings when exporting. I think this is the whole point of Alternative original - I don't want to have the original strings anymore, I want to treat the English ones as Original. Best regards, Christine

Sisulizer build 278 will contain option to use alternative original. By default it is turn on if the project has alternative original. 278 will come out in few days. Jaakko Attachment: Untitled.png (Downloaded 4 times)
