Dear Sisulizer Team.

While working with the Sisulizer one problem is going to be annoying.
When Sisulizer find more than one possible translation, the popup box appears.
After I have choosen the right translation, I want the others to get delete, so that I don´t have to do this everytime again. A great possibility is the "Erase all but selected" Button (or also the simple erase button).
But unfortunately no one of those works. The translations are staying still in the memory. The double/tripple translations still exists.
Do you have an idea how to fix it ?
I think you should already have our Firebird translation database, if you don´t have I can send it to you.

Two further problems accours after I have choosen the right translation.

No2: I get a Sisulizer error message which doesn´t tells me anythink...afterwards Sisulizer stops.

I hope you could help me !

Thank you for your great support

Björn

Hello,

I tested today your issue with embedded DBISAM Translation Memory, and after using Delete and Delete all but selected for multiple translations in translation memory, Sisulizer correctly removed all unnecessary translations from database. It seems to me that your issue could be related to your translation memory engine, that is, Firebird (e.g. to access rights). Unfortunately, I haven't access to this database type, but I'll try reproduce it with my MySQL database and ask about it our R&D.

Best regards,
Janusz

Hello,

I reproduced similar issue with MySQL database, that is, Sisulizer couldn't delete multiple translations via mentioned in your post dialog window, and I've got "Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset" message in output pane for these operations, but Sisulizer correctly clear all translations from remote MySQL TM (Tools menu > Translation Engines > Tools tab > Clear the selected Translation Memory). Could you send to us or attach to this topic your output report for TM operations? It could be useful for our investigation.

Best regards,
Janusz

Hello,

My sample database crashed during my tests. When I created new MySQL database with TM, and I've repeated tests, I've got identical results as in your case, without output messages, so you needn't send to us anything. I'll forward my sample to our R&D.

Best regards,
Janusz
