Hi,
When updating my file (scan for changes), I get the following warnings :
14:53:51 Scanning file "F:\Ressources\Sisulizer\GeoConcept-6.5\ExternData.xgo"
14:53:51 Warning Unknown control (id: 3836, classId: 0, class: "", textId: 0, text: "Custom1", style: 1342242816)
14:53:51 Warning Unknown control (id: 3839, classId: 0, class: "", textId: 0, text: "Custom1", style: 1342242816)

I have associated the "unknown component" to be a combo box, but it seems I cannot get rid of that warning left "unknown control".

So, I tried to edit the object (right click on the combo, and choose "Change mapping...". When I validated, I got a crash (see attached screenshot).
I attached in the zip both a screenshot and an extract of the resource file where the dialog is defined.

The problem seems to be linked to the fact that the control has no class defined:
CONTROL "",IDC_COMBO_INSERTLISTNAME,"XgoCtl IteratorCombo", WS_TABSTOP,102,114,98,14

works fine, whereas
CONTROL "Custom1",IDC_COMBO_UPDATELISTNAME,"",WS_TABSTOP,95,79,98,14

creates a problem for Sisulizer.

I will tell the developper to indicate a class name, but as it is causing a crash, I though I should tell you.

Cheers,
Olivier.

Hello Olivier,

Thank you for reporting it. From your screenshot appears that you got also Bug report. Could you send on support (at) sisulizer.fi your bug report for this issue?
Advice for future: If you component mapping will cause Sisulizer crash, you could revert component mapping to initial state by click Default button on Edit component dialog window.

Best regards,
Janusz Grzybek

Hello,

Hmm... I tested your RC file with my sample Sisulizer project and mapping to combo box in both cases, that is:
- CONTROL "",IDC_COMBO_INSERTLISTNAME,"XgoCtl IteratorCombo", WS_TABSTOP,102,114,98,14
- CONTROL "Custom1",IDC_COMBO_UPDATELISTNAME,"",WS_TABSTOP,95,79,98,14
didn’t caused errors.
For first case Sisulizer used “XgoCtl IteratorCombo” class name, for second case “CONTROL” class name.

Janusz

Hi,
the .rc file was just there to show how the resources were defined. I'm afraid, I forgot to indicate that you have to work on a compiled dll.
I will send the compiled DLL to your support address. The crash happens not when you map the control to a combobox, but when you Change mapping... and validate (even without doing any actual change).
