The specll Spell checker registration confirmation dialog always appears at the start of Sisulizer even when you check "do not show this next time".

And when you press Ctrl+C which is normally a shortcut for copying text on this dialog, a warnng of "an unexpected error occurred in the application" will appear and Sisulizer will exit. The error seems to have the following error message:

List index out of bounds (0).

Please fix it.

Hi,

I tried but could not reproduce non of the behaviours you described.

Please make sure that the switch Spell Checker Engines is set to "off" (The screen shot shows it as on) before you re-try.

I tried to press Ctrl-C as you described when the dialog is displayed and no problem occurs.

Markus

Done.

The dialog does not show up here like expected.

Please send me your complete .slo file to support (at) sisuizer.fi. Perhaps it is related to some setting.

Best

Markus

Hi,

Even with your settings it is still not reproducible on my system. The dialog does not show if the switch is set to off (and your slo has that setting).
The pity is that we can only fix things we are able to reproduce. If you find some hints how to reproduce please let us know.

Markus

Maybe it relates to the system. I test it on my Windows Vista x64. Maybe it's ok on Windows XP as it seems to have something to do with the privilege.

Hello,

I’ve already reproduced it on Vista.

Sorry, I forgot about second issue:

And when you press Ctrl+C which is normally a shortcut for copying text on this dialog, a warnng of "an unexpected error occurred in the application" will appear and Sisulizer will exit.
Unfortunately, (or rather fortunately:cool:) I can’t reproduce this issue.

Please try to reproduce it on Vista or 7. I've tested on XP, Vista and 7. On XP everthing seems ok while on other two the bug can be always reproduced.
It's easy to reproduce it:
1. Install Sisulizer on a fresh copy of Windows Vista/7;
2. Open a project file by double clicking it;
3. When the spell checker registration confirmation dialog appeas, press Ctrl+C, a fatal error will occur.
4. Repeat step 2, this time click "no" with "Do not show this next time" checked, then exits normally.
5. Repeat step 2, the confiramation dialog STILL appears.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I reproduced your first issue on Vista and it was forwarded already to our R&D. By the way I tried to reproduce your issue with Ctrl + C, but Sisulizer didn’t crash with this shortcut on my PC.

Best,
Janusz

Hello,

I’ve reproduced your second issue too. This a bit strange, lately I tried to reproduce bug during opening existing project file via Windows Explorer (on Vista) but Sisulizer normally behaved with pressed Ctrl+C. Today I tried again and I’ve reproduced bug several times. Of course, I’ll forward it to our R&D.

Janusz

Fixed in build 280. The new build will come out in few days.
