Hello:

When building my project with Sisulizer 291 the resulting exe will not run (it opens the attached winfow).  I upgraded last week from version 285 (I missed the intermediate ones). Where can I get the 290 build?

I noticed that the resources file build with version 285 has 4.8Mb while the one done with 291 only has 3.8Mb. If I rebuild the diccionaries with the old version, the program works fine.

I saw other post with a similar problem (http://www.sisulizer.net/forum4/1629.html) but the solution is not aplicable to me because I only have marked "String", "Data" and "Version resources".

Regards...

Pablo.

I studied your files. The reason was with the Manifest resource after all. The build 291 writes some extra langueage information into it.

If you use 291 you should exclude it. This will be fixed in 292. Keep using the 290 for now.

The size on lozalized resource DLL file was smaller because new build don't write those part that has not been localized.

You can explore your original and localized EXE and DLL file with this menu command. You can check out if the Manifest resource is in the localized DLL or not

I downloaded today version 292. I built the english translation (a 3.9 Mb file) and it doesn't work. I'm attaching a print screen from my "resources" tab and the error message.

If I rebuild the EN file with with version 287 it works fine.

Please let me know how can I help you to find some solution to this problem.

Regards...

Pablo.

Okay, a form resource is missing. Try the build 292 with this option. Check "Copy all resources". Just to find out if the missing form resource a the reason.

I found the problem. You had excluded those missing forms. Build 291-292 didn't write those excluded forms. VCL was not able to find the originals from EXE file.

This will be fixed in 293. Those excluded forms will also be written. For now please use 287.

Ilkka
