Good morning.

I have some problems with our translation database.
Unfortunately it is not importing all translations out of its memory althoug the text should be already stored in it.
First, I didn´t took notice of that because the Google and Microsoft translation engine was also activated. But the translation doesn´t seemed to be all right. So I disabled the other engines except the our firebird database.

I´m sure that the text should be found in the memory because I have checked it direct in the database.

I´m sending you an archive including my data.
Can you please check it and give me a good advise ?

Thank you

Best regards
Björn

Hello,

Thank you for SLP file. Could you send to us also exported contents (as TMX file type) of your translation memory?
You can export your translation memory in following way:
Go to "Tools" menu -> "Translation Engines" -> select your Translation Memory -> "Tools" tab -> "Export data from the selected translation memory". Next zip it and send to us.

Best regards,
Janusz

I have already added the GDB-File.
Unfortunately the export of our database does not work correctly.
Sometime Sisu counts from 0 - 100% and a file without any entries gets created...some other time it counts up to no limit and in some cases a usefull file gets created.
This function is also a little bit buggy on my side :-(
But I will try to create a working tmx and send it to you.

You are right, your TMX file is empty. Because, I use only MySQL and DBISAM on my OS, so I can't test your GDB file, and for this reason I'll forward it to Jaakko.

OK, I got new TMX file, and this file contains translations. However, I fear issue can be related to your database engine. We let you know about result of our investigation.

Did you found any indicators for my problem ?
Is this problem caused by the firebird database or the integration of it ?

Hello,

I didn't receive information from our R&D yet. I'll ask our developers about status of this issue.

Best regards,
Janusz

Good morning.
Sorry...I won´t rush you but it´s really important for me that I can work correctly with our translation databse.
For this moment I have to search every string and it´s translation manually in the database.
A few versions before this problem never appeared.
At this time I can not efficiently work with the sisulizer.
How can I help you ?
Did you find some failures in the database or do you need more data from my side ?
We could also have a NetViewer-Conference to make the problem visible !?
Any idea ?

Best regards
Björn

I am working on this. However I have had problem to attach your database to a database server. First I tried Interbase because the file extension is GDB. It failed. Then I remembered that you use Firefird and tried Firebird but it either does not let me to attach the database. It gives me a password error.

How can I use TRANSDB.GDB? What Firebird do you use?

Jaakko
