I can no longer import a translated HTML Help file into a Sisulizer project, using Build 300 without it producing duplicate strings throughout. To see if it was a bug, I tried using a HTML Help file that I had used before, which worked OK on a previous version of Sisulizer. I have attached a screenshots of the old SLP file, and a newly created one using the same English file as source and the same imported French file.

Hi,

Can you please zip and upload the chm plus the slp to us.

Please use the "Private Upload" button right above this post. It helps us to keep track of uploads and forums posts.

We will take a look.

Markus

Hello Chris,

I was trying reproduce this issue, but I got identical results (without incorrectly duplicate items) for both your SLP files. Could you upload to us also original (English) CHM file and Sisulizer.slo file? You can find Sisulizer.slo file in Sisulizer installation directory (Windows XP) or Sisulizer data directory (Vista).

Best regards,
Janusz

Hello,

Thank you for English CHM file. Previously, you sent localized (French) version of this same file, but both files were necessary for reproducing this issue. Now, I can do it, but issue occurs only for newly created Sisulizer project, while for already existing projects import feature behaves correctly. If you would like fix it, you should remove all translations from your project (new project with incorrectly imported items) and next import again translations from localized French CHM file. Of course, I'll forward this issue to our R&D.

Best regards,
Janusz

Hello Chris,

Thank you for files and additional information. You are right. Sisulizer can re-import from localized file only 20 - 30% of translated strings. We work on this issue.

Best regards,
Janusz

Hi Janusz,
Any news on when this will be fixed, because my boss is chasing me to get it sorted as it's holding up a release to customers.
Regards,
Chris

Hello Chris,

Imported HTML file is not 100% same as the original. The texts are inside different blocks (like CLASS, SPAN). Sisuslizer needs the structure on be 1:1 the same in order the import to work. Our developers currently work on improving it, but it is hard issue, so it can take some time.

Best regards,
Janusz
