Hi,

I have the following languages in my project:
  1. French
  2. German
  3. English
  4. Dutch
  5. Hebrew
When I build the sources (based on the XAP file) 5 XAP files are created, for every language one. When I copy those files to my webserver all the langauges run fine except the Dutch one???

Attached you see the error.

How can I trace what's missing and why is it only for the Dutch language?

Hello,

Could you upload to us latest versions of your source file(s) and SLP file?

Best regards,
Janusz

Hi,

I Googled and found that:

Perhaps that helps in your case as well. Perhaps 32/64 Bit is the difference in your Dutch version?

I Googled a bit more and it seems Error 2105 is very common and related to the CPU the stuff is compiled for.

The project is compiled for any cpu.

Besides the source XAP file (the file which is used as a source in SL) is the same for any language only SL makes for each language a different one. Or not?

I have sent Janusz my entire website and slp file.

Janusz and Markus.

I think I found something. The translator has translated some text which belong to code. I will try to fix that first to see if that is indeed the problem. So for now put the problem on hold.

Ok,

That sounds reasonable. Hope it is this :-)

Indeed that was the problem. They translated some XAML code like "Collapsed" into "Zichtbaar" and a few others.

So we can close this issue.

Thanks for the support.

Puhhh,

Great. Sounded like a complicated issue related to compiling on the first sight.

To prevent future problems you should set these rows to "Do Not Translate". Then you are save.

... or exclude these rows. You can read more about Do Not Translate and Exclude features in  this http://www.the-localization-tool.com/?p=454 article on our blog.
