Hi,

Recently we have inserted Russian as language in our (WinCE) translation project. When generating the localized resource files the language ID of the created file is 0x0019 while it should be 0x0419. I see similar behaviour in the other translations too, now. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Was wondering whether the observed effect is related to topic #1544...

Hello,

0x0019 is correct id for Russian language, while 0x0419 is valid id for Russian (Russia).  Usually C++ applications use sub-language (language + country ids), instead neutral language. You can change it via "Column" menu -> "Language properties" -> "Language" tab -> "Country" combobox. Here, select "Russia" instead "Neutral".
BTW: Info in "Codes" section of this dialog is refreshed after re-opening "Language properties" dialog.

Best regards,
Janusz
