Hi,

i get several errors while building my project.
it does complete though, but no language resource dlls get created.

i am using 'Sisulizer Professional Version(2010) (Build 314)'

Hello,

Thank you for SLP and log. Could you upload to us also your source VS project files (sln, csproj, resx, etc.) packed as zip or rar? Your issue is related to scan/build operation and for reproduce it we need all files required by SLP fr build/compile process.

Thank you for files. During my first tests I've got different results, that is my output message doesn't contain EInvalidCast errors. However during compiling MDM.resources.dll I got Assembly Linker AL1046 error. It occurs when two resources, embedded or linked, have the same identifier or name. Could you repeat build operation on your machine with files sent to us?

i am getting different results too, ALINK Error in the files i provided to you and EInvalidCast in my source project.

let's pause for the weekend. i will try to isolate the problem next week (removing the dialog where the ALINK Error happens) so we can see if the EInvaidCast is a Error based on that.

one think i want to add is: all worked well for quite some time yet (i am using Sisulizer for about 2 years on this project). But it was with VS 2008 and Sourcesafe , we changed that to VS2010 and Team Foundation Server 2010 and i have moved the Sourcesafe date into TFS.

I did not receive it. Did you send a plain EXE file or a zip file that contains the EXE. If you sent EXE can you zip the EXE into a zip file and send it.

I fixed the bug. The fix will be in the next build (315) that will come out next week.

There is a workaround: disable localization of WIN32 resources. Right click MDM.sln in the project tree and choose Properties. Then uncheck WIN32 resource from Resources sheet (see the screenshot).
