I created a TM in SQL Server and choose option File - Save to Translation Memory. The Output pane says "2 translations saved to translation memory". If I go to Tools-Translation Engines and select my SQL Server TM It says "The translation engine does not contain data at the moment" and all the tables in the database are empty in SQL Server. It turned out that the strings were actually saved to the Embedded TM although it is not enabled. Shouldn't it be saved to the SQL Server one which I enabled instead? /Fredrik Last edited on Thu Sep 6th, 2007 03:06 pm by Frede |

Hi Fredrik, Sorry, to hear that. Is your SQL Server the only Translation Memory/Engine, and the one you write to. We have a FAQ article regarding TM, can you please check that, and let me know if the problem is still there, or not? http://www.sisulizer.net/forum2/270.html Especially: Make sure that the Translation Memory you want to write to is the top-most enabled Translation Memory in the Source Properties - Engines (view step 1) Thank you Renate Last edited on Thu Sep 6th, 2007 03:13 pm by Renate.Reinartz ____________________ http://www.sisulizer.de - Three simple steps to localize |

Hi Renate! That did the trick (putting it at the top). I think it's unclear what is the TM that it will save to. Also, what does the Enabled checkbox do? Regardless if it's checked or not you can save data to it. I also understand that there is no TM editor. How do I correct a misspelled string in the TM?

I know that it is a bit hard expecially because strings are in UTF-8 However the next major Sisulizer version will contain TM editor. Jaakko

I guess this will be in 2.0 then? When is it scheduled for release and what other improvements are there? Thanks Fredrik
