Hi all,

When selecting the command "Excluded Rows" from the Project menu, the software stops to respond for about 2-3 minutes. If the dialog is closed by clicking the cross in the upper right corner during loading the list, the software crashes.

It also takes an unreasonable amount of time / the dialog box is closed again / Sisulizer stops to respond when maximizing the Excluded Rows window.

In other words, I did not succeed in checking my excluded rows list so far.

Best regards, Christine

Hi Christine,

can you please send your .slp to support (at) sisulizer.fi. We will try to reproduce that.

Can you please also tell us how much memory your computer has installed.

Markus

Dear Markus,

I think you can try to reproduce it with my test project you already have from me (CP05_support.slp), even though this is not my complete project. The complete project is too large for sending by e-mail.

Memory: 2047 MB

Hi Christine,

the CP05_support.slp I have does not have any excluded rows.

For a test I excluded all rows (~8738) in the project. After that the dialog for Excluded Rows opens in no time, so it is not a general problem in Sisulizer.

Markus

Dear Markus,

I tried it again (build 269), but still the same: CPU load for Sisulizer goes up to 50 % (on a dual core computer) and UI freezes (no response).

Best regards, Christine

Hello Christine,

Thank you for files. I tested opening of exclude list in your original project on two my PCs, one with 1,5 GB RAM and CPU Intel Prescott 3,0 MHz, second with 1GB RAM and CPU Intel Core Duo 3,0 MHz, and list was opened immediately without crashes. Probably issue depends on your PC configuration or is result using at this same time other software on your PC.

Best regards,
Janusz

Hi,

I just testd the file with Build 274 on my eeePC with 900MHz Celeron M, Win XP, 1GB memory. The dialog for excluded rows opens very fast on this slow Netbook.

Can you please move the .slp to some different drive or computer and try to open it from there. Please also make sure you have the latest build.

Markus

I was able to reproduce it. I'll start finding the reason

I found the reason. There was a really long text excluded (a HTML file). That caused the slowdown. It will be fixed to the next build.
