OBJECT : "Home-Made Controls" Problems in Sizu V268 As many developers I create my own controls derived from simpler ones ; I use currently 2 of them for management of special definitions of Dates and Times Values like Years Going from -99999 to +999999 idem for hours , minutes , seconds etc ...this require a huge fonctions library behind which I developped and use in my Form/Dialog Boxes ..... BUT they are not standard , so not recognized automatically by Sizuliser : They appear with the message "Click to Analyse" ...SO I DID : gave a "standard" control name and 99 % of the other controls DISAPPEARED from the screen .....the "nonstandard" control seeming to cover the entire form/dialog box and beeing NOT modificable ... ALSO when checking/validating(?) for "errors" the concerned control is not found in the list in the bottom window , only the other home-made control is , the one NOT touch YET ; The one ALREADY touched and creating the current problem does not appear in the list . HOW to get ALL BACK in right order ???? I had the idea to look at the list/text of controls from editor option , all controls seem to be STILL THERE , so I wanted to modify the "new" screen/list taking the model of "original" screen/list in a Compare option... BUT the lists are READ ONLY ...and there is no option to copy/paste from one list to the other . Could that SOLVE the "disappearing Pb" ? Could we modify the content ALSO by Save/Load a GOOD control (s) from already saved CONTROL/FILE ????? (=>Wish List if not done yet) CONNECTED to that aspect it would be USEFULL (would shorten work for complicated /Heavy hand work problems) to GENERATE DIRECTLY the DFM Files (BCBUILDER ++V5), should not be too difficult having already the complete , decribed , list of controls in read only aspect . (=>Wish List if not done yet) I am adding an other "standard" control Pb : TStatusBar , they have panels where text is shown ...and modificable by Sizulizer But they seem completely unaccesible in SIZE/POSITION ....??? Same for ToolBar Buttons Does any body knows a practical solution ???? Jean Christian DREYFUS PARIS jeanchristiand_(at)_free.fr

Hello Jean Christian, If you use custom mapping (click to map), and you would like change mapping or remove mapping, you should go to menu Project > Components… and after open Components dialog window, you will see list of all your custom (added) components. Here you could change mapping of our control (double click on component name or Edit button in toolbar), add your control to Global settings by Publish button (component will be available for all your projects), remove or export it. If position, sizes or text of your custom control aren’t modifiable, you should select component on list and edit it (double click or Edit button). You will see dialog window with 3 tabs, in first you could change mapping, in third tab (Options) you could enable or disable some properties of control. For example, if you will check “Exclude the whole component and it's properties”, you couldn’t to modify strings, sizes an position of control, if you will check “Exclude all string properties by default”, you couldn’t to modify strings properties. If above advices aren’t useful for you, because you couldn’t match your custom control to existing mappings, and if you have source code of your control you could add source code of your control directly to project. As I mentioned in my answer on your post in forum topic http://forum.sisulizer.com/forum4/84.html improving of mapping mechanism is “never ending story” and our R&D continuously working on this, so if adding source code to project also doesn’t work, you could send to us your files with binary file having the home made control. Maybe our R&D will find some solution, but we need your files. If your controls aren’t your home made controls and are third party components, we could to add support to these controls, but we need access to controls source, information about developer of control etc. During developing of the Sisulizer our R&D added support for dozens third party components. Here latest example: http://forum.sisulizer.com/forum7/1001.html. You can find list of supported VCL controls here: menu Tools > Platforms > VCL, for .NET here: menu Tools > Platforms > .NET.

CONNECTED to that aspect it would be USEFULL (would shorten work for complicated /Heavy hand work problems) to GENERATE DIRECTLY the DFM Files (BCBUILDER ++V5), should not be too difficult having already the complete , decribed , list of controls in read only aspect . (=>Wish List if not done yet)Some user already requested possibility of export to DFM file for Delphi, I will ask about it our R&D. Best regards, Janusz
