This dalaog pops up when you import translations from a file (e.g. Excel) First, it is somewhat unclear what No to All and Yes to All mean. Yes to all will overwrite the translations for all strings in the imported file and not just all similar strings. You would like 2 more options in this dialog, Yes to all similar and No to all similar so the meaning. If you have a common string like Id that you want to translate in the same way for all occurrences you would select Yes to all similar. Now, if you click yes to all the question to overwrite will never popup again. This is a big issue if you have many strings to import. /Frede Attachment: SL-importreplace.png (Downloaded 19 times)

No to All means that Sisulizer does not show this dialog any more but simple ignores (do not import) those strings where the current value if different to imported one. Yes to All means that Sisulizer does not show this dialog any more but overwrites all existing values when importing. I have added Help button and help topic in build 280. Jaakko

Let say you have a project that looks like this Original/Translation One/Ein Two/Zwei Two/Zwei Three/Drei i.e you have 2 rows that are identical. Now I want to import translations from a file that look like this, never mind that there are different languages, it's just for this example. One/Uno Two/Dos Three/Tres In this example. There will first popup a dialog asking if I want to translate Zwei with Dos. If I answer Yes to All I will overwrite all following strings that are in the import file, not just the Two/Dos translation but Drei will also be overwritten with Tres. If I answer No the dialog will popup for ALL occurrences of Two in the entire project. Since I may have hundreds of similar strings there will be an awful lot of clicking. What you would like is the option Yes to all similar that would translate both occurrences of Two to Dos but popup the confirmation dialog again when it is about to import Three/Tres asking if it should overwrite Drei with Tres. Do you understand what I am trying to say or do you need further clarification?

I got you. What you want is two more buttons: Yes to all similar and No to all similar. So all together there will be Yes No Yes to all similar No to all similar Yes to All No to All Yes/No are aonly for that case Yes/No to all similar are only for the cases that have the same original (when importing by value) or same context (when importing by context) Yes/No to All are for all cases starting from this. Right? Sounds like a good feature. I start implementing. Jaakko

Exactly Jaako, I am not sure that All similar is the right word, cause it's not similar strings, but strings that are exactly equal to the string listed in the dialog. Maybe All equal or something is better, but it might be unclear what equal / similar refer to (equal or similar to what?). I trust you to find a proper adjective 8-). As long as it is documented in the online help it should be fine. Thanks /Frede
