Hello,

We haven't manage to find a functionality which would save us a lot a of work. We have about 20 languages in our produkt, with a lot of different binarys for each language.
We would like to be able to generate separate (for each language) translation packages by a simple step (should be easy to add to your exchange wizard as everything already are there). We dont want to send each translator a package containing all languages as it will be a big file and the we have to open each package and de-select the uninteresting languages for each package.

Soo, if you could add a support (In GUI or as a script) to easily generate a separate translator package for each language in the project, we would be utterly happy!

Else we are very happy with your product!

Best Regards /Mikael

Hello Mikael,

You could select in Exchange Wizard languages included to Exchange package:

But if you have 20 languages, creation of 20 language packages in above way is time- consuming job. Sisulizer Enterprise edition has implemented command line tool named SLMake. This tool allows on build separated language package by one command line. So if you will create batch file, you could create 20 language packages e.g. with different other settings by one click! I think this good reason for upgrade to Enterprise edition.
For more information about usage exchange feature with SLMake, you should run SLMake in DOS window with following parameters:
SLMake exchange -h

Best regards,
Janusz

Hi Mikael,

>>One more question, can we update our Professional 2008 to Enterprise 2008, and what is the update cost?

That's an easy question :-)

Yes, you can upgrade at any time and the price is the difference between the two editions at the time of your upgrade. So in the moment it is just EUR 242 net.

Please contact sales (at) sisulizer.com and we send you a personal discount code for our shop.

Best

Markus

Hi Mikael,

You should install Sisulizer as an evaluation edition to some different directory on your hard drive and test if the cmd-line does what you need.

If you call SLMAKE from Windows command line shell without parameters it will print  some help to the screen.

Markus

Hello guys,

We have tested slmake in enterprise and it doesnt work as expected.

We have a project with 15 languages, and we want to create exchange packages for each language, to send to individual translators.

Our script looks like:

slmake exchange topocad_es.sle -lang:es topocad.slp

and this should produce only the spanish exchange file, but the exchange file contains all languages...
Do we specify the language code wrongly in the above slmake command?

Regards /Mikael

Hello Markus, (Thinks its a question to you)

If we buy Enterprise, we would also like to know what the future price differences are between Proffessional and Enterprise, when we want to upgrade our Sisulizer 2008?

Hi,

the price for a xgrade from Pro to Enterprise is always the difference between the two prices at the time of your xgrade. In the moment the difference is Euro 242 net. So in the moment it is a perfect time for a xgrade :-)

The same for updates from 1.x to 2.x. While you pay a percentage from a new license it is good decision to purchase while we run a special. So in the moment it is also a perfect timing for updating :-)

Markus
