Hi, When using the "Import Translations from Localized Files" feature, we read the resource from the satellite dll and we have no choice. We should have the option to choose the "localized files" and so read the resource files i.e. resx or .resources instead of dll. The main advantage is that we don't have to build the product and so we will have less errors linked to build errors. May be it already exist and I miss it. Best Regards

Hello, You can use “File” menu > “Import” feature, instead "Import Translations from Localized Files". This feature allows you select files for import e.g. specified RESX or DLL file. Sisulizer should automatically to find localizable resources and ask during Import wizard about imported languages. Import wizard allows you also on set up other options. Best regards, Janusz

Hi, I use already this feature as a temporary workaround. But with 30 resx it can be a very tedious task and it is also quite error prone. The import from Localized Files is exactly what I want except that we should choose what are the localized files i.e. resx, .resources or dll... When we build the resource with Sisulizer we generate the resx so it makes sense for me to also be able to import from resx for all the resx of the Sisu project. Now if there is a way to do the import of each resx but by not choosing them manually there is no problem. Best Regards Last edited on Thu Mar 5th, 2009 12:49 pm by KarimB |

Hello, Sisulizer Enterprise edition has implemented command line tool named SLMake. Because SLMake is DOS command tool you can use old, but very useful solution with usage batch file. Batch file allows on automation time consuming and often performed operations. For example you can add to batch file command lines for import to project translations from all your resx files and execute import by double click on batch file. Of course, you can also use SLMake with external tools with implemented support of command line. If you would like to test this feature, you need to install Sisulzer Enerprise trial edition on your PC as fresh installation, that is, Enterprise edition should be installed in other folder. This solution allows you use at this same moment your licensed copy and Enterprise trial edition. For more information about usage import feature with SLMake, you should run SLMake in DOS window with following parameters: SLMake import –h. If you really need automation for tedious operations, I recommend you ugrade to Enterprise edition. Bes regards, Janusz
