I am Dilip Singh Bat from Capgemini. We want to use Sisulizer software for localization of my application developed in .net. So we are evaluating the Sisulizer software but we are facing problems. It is not translating our application. We have gone through the Quickstart and we are following the same steps mentioned in the quickstart but still we are not getting success. Actually when we try to translate from English to Spanish language, it shows Values for Spanish language blank and status as "Not Translated". Could you please suggest any solutions or could you please give email id of any of your technical executive

Hello, I think you are correctly created your project, but Sisulizer is localization software, not machine translation software, and for this reason all cells of your targeted language (Spanish) are empty. However Sisulizer has implemented some auto-translations features supported localization process. You can use following auto-translate feature: - Translation Engines - Import - Translate Duplicate While Sisulizer has interfaces to machine translation it is highly recommended to use a human translator who is a native speaker. Only a professional translator will produce the translation quality you need to enlarge your markets. A machine translation will not help you. Below is short descriptions of all auto-translation features.

Translation Engines Sisulizer supports following automatic translation features: Translation Memory, Google Translate and External machine translation software (as addons). You can manage all these feature by Translation Engines interface available via “Tools” menu > “Translation Engines”. On below screenshot you can to see Translation Engines dialog window. 1. Translation Memory. By default after installation create Translation Memory named Embedded based on DBISAM database. This is good place to save your translation for future re-use, for example for new project. You can add many your own Translation Memories to Sisulizer based on different database engines. For example you can create Translation Memory dedicated only to one specified project. You can also add external localization resources e.g. TMX, CSV, XLS (Excel) etc. to Translation Memory via “Translation Engines” > “Documents” tab. 2. Google. To build 280 was added (only in Sisulizer Enterprise edition) new translation engine named Google. This feature allows you use translation resources of worldwide Google Translate service, and is available currently for 34 languages. This Translation Engine is installed by default with Sisulizer and after installation is ready to use and for this reason I recommend use this feature for your project. You can to do in following way: - Select your translation column, e.g. Spanish - Go to “Column” menu > “Translate Using Translation Engine > Use Google. Currently quality of Google Translate resources is not high, but It think is good point for beginning your work with Sisulizer. However probably you need to preview all translations correct, and customize translations to your needs. 3. External machine translation software. Sisulizer support Seram and WorldLingo machine translation software, but you need to have installed these software on your PC. Attachment: screen.png (Downloaded 143 times)

Import. You can import translations from external, already translated resources, for example: 1.Already localized targeted files, for example DLL, RESX, INI etc.. You can to do via “File” menu > “Import” (it open Import Wizard) or via “Project” menu “Import Translations from Localized Files” 2.Sisulizer and Multilizer projects. You can to import translations to project from other your Sisulizer projects. Sisulizer supports also directly import from localization projects external localization tool named Multilizer. You can to do via “File” menu > “Import” (it open Import Wizard) 3.Excel files (XLS). You can to do via “File” menu > “Import” (it open Import Wizard) 4.XLIFF files. XLIFF (XML Localization Interchange File Format) is currently very popular forma to exchange translations between translators, or between translators and developers. 5.TMX files. TMX (Translation Memory Exchange) format is used to exchange Translation Memory contents. Many localization service providers (LSP) and developers use it to exchange translations. Additional this format allows you to import translations from all other localization tools with implemented translation Memory feature, e.g. Passolo, Alchemy Catalyst, Lingobit Localizer etc. 6.CSV or other text delimited files. This plain text format is use by many companies to creation their glossary or repository files. So you can use this resources, and for example download MS repository files from Microsoft website and import to your project Usually quality of imported translations from MS CSV files is good and allows on automatic translation even to 50 % of all strings. Translate Duplicates Sisulizer can automatically translate identical strings. So if you type translation for “Cancel” (in English) string, Sisulizer automatically translate all occurrences of this string in project. You can also use “Column” menu > “Translate Duplicates”. In this case Sisulizer automatically translate all strings also with “Auto translated” status. You can customize settings of this feature via “Tools” menu > “General” > “Translations” tab (look on screenshot). Best regards, Janusz Attachment: screen2.png (Downloaded 138 times)

Now it is showing translated but when i run project it shows old value only i.e. english caption only and not the spanish one. Could you tell me if you saved project before you opened it again? BTW: If you use “Remove Pseudo Translation”, all translations filled during pseudo-translation operation will be removed and status of these items will be reverted to “Not translated”, but all changed translation strings (wit status “Translated”) will remain in project. Hi, And don't forget that Sisulizer will not change your original binaries. It will create localized copies of them in some sub-directory. And you should read this: http://www.sisulizer.com/online-help/ActionMessageNetUiLocale.htm to select the right language at the start of your application. The default in .NET is to start with the system default locale. I guess in your case this is not Spanish :-) Without that minor change you might always see English. Best Markus

Hi, The solution is to read: http://www.sisulizer.com/online-help/ActionMessageNetUiLocale.htm This page has all the info you need for .NET programing. Then you can try the samples coming with Sisulizer. If you use .NET you find them in the Sisulizer directory in the sub-directory Net. Best Markus

Try this. Unzip the file and run the application (Project1.exe). It is my test application for Google Translate. Tell me if it can translate text. Jaakko Attachment: sample.zip (Downloaded 3 times)

Hello, Google translate was implemented to build 280. This feature is not available if you use older build. This feature also could be disabled if you upgraded your Sisulizer to build 280/281 from older version with following installation setting: "Upgrade the existing installation". In this case you need go to "Tools" menu > "Translation Engines" > Click on "+" button, and next select "Google Translate Machine Translator" from list of "Select Engine Type" UI item > click "OK".
