Our previous tool (appTranslator) allowed us to check a box to give a "Build" option to some of our translators in the free edition of the software.  This allowed them to build and manually put these files in place to test them without having to send them to us to get them re-built ( I should point out that these particular translators are our distributors who install and support our systems in different countries). A lot of our screens are dynamically build using strings from the string table so the wysiwyg dialog editor will not necessarily show if strings overlap and whether the context of the translation is correct, so the translators find this function very useful.

Is it possible to optionally allow the Build function when Exchanging the project? I know  this would allow too much functionality in the free edition but perhaps you could add a character (or overwrite one) at the start of every string in the built files to make them unusable for the live system, while still usable enough for testing.

Thanks & regards,
Chris Webb

Hi Chris,

For what you describe we offer the Translator Edition. It has the build option but is much cheaper than the developer editions. It has nearly all features of the Enterprise edition, e.g. Google Translate etc, except vreate new Sisulizer projects, create exchange packages, and SLMake.

We have nice priced and highly accepted bundles here:

If you already own a license of appTranslator please contact me here:
http://www.sisulizer.com/contactform.shtml

to get some discount.

Hope this helps

Markus

Hi Markus,

Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry I wasted your time! Yes, the Translator Edition seems to be what we're after - I got confused between that one and the free edition.

Thanks & regards,
Chris
