Hi!

When using auto translate for .resx strings some characters are missing. E.g. '{0}' becomes {0}

How come? Can I change some settings to make sure that all characters will be translated?

Best Regards
Chatrin

Hello,

Could you tell me what auto-translate feature you used for your project (Translate Duplicate, Translation Memory, machine translation tools e.g. Google or Microsoft Translator)?

Best regards,
Janusz

Hello,

I can reproduce your issue. Google Translate is external service and for this reason we haven’t influence on quality of this service. However I’ll ask our R&D about it, maybe our developers could fix it by improving implementation of Google API to Sisulizer.

Janusz,

One advice:
You can use Microsoft Translator engine instead Google. I tested this tool and Sisulizer preserved syntax of ‘{0}’ string after auto-translation.

Best,
Janusz

Fixed in build 268.

As Janusz told MS translator keeps special character much better in strings. Google very often relocates them. We try to undo this relocation after calling Google. This relocation was not been implemented. Now it is. It is likely that there will be more remove/relocation issues with Google. Wehn we find them we will write code to undo it.

This nasty feature is because of Google not because of our code.
