Hi, Our program uses NSIS for its install system and everytime we need to add or modify a translation we have to go through the script and copy + paste each translation that needs adding and do that 10+ times. It would be great if sisulizer could work with NSIS files and allow the use of google to translate and to export translations to NSIS format. We also use launchpad.net to host our code and it has a translation feature that lets people update translations they are working on by submitting it through a .pot file. However, Sisulizer only allows files to be imported from .pot but not exported. It would be great if these could be exported because then users that like working with these files can work them and submit them to launchpad. Thanks!

- Nick

Hi Nick,

The normal work flow for .pot files (which are actually templates, the reason for the t in the name) is to localize them to .po files. You can create a new project from a .pot file in Sisulizer. If you translate the entries in it you then can use Project - Build to get localized .po (or even .mo - the compiled version) files.

If you tool is following the gettext workflow it should know what to do with .po files which btw. are similar to .pot files.

Hope this helps

Markus
