Hi,

We are currently adding support for XLIFF files to QA Distiller, a stand-alone translation quality control tool.

It would be great if the XLIFF files exported from Sisulizer would have the SL namespace defined so we can process Sisulizer XLIFF files without additional pre-processing.

Currently, because the namespace prefix SL is not declared, the XML parser we use considers XLIFF files from Sisulizer to be invalid.

Thanks and regards,
Thomas

Does your parser require to have DTD or XML schema definied in the namespace or is it OK to have any URL in the namespace?

Hi Jaako,

Any URI is fine, the namespace URI is not used by the parser to look up information; it just has to be present.

Thanks!
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

I added this feature in next build (309). It will come out this week.
