Dear admin,

I am using sisulizer's eval version (enterprise) and localize japanese projecet to english. And really intrested with your product that reduce time taken for big projects.
I came across a problem than, After correcting resource files of my project with the help of Visual studio evnt. And try to rescan by sisulizer tool. But I cannot read corrected resx files of a visual studio project into sisulizer tool.
The thing is recorrected control names are already wread into sisulizer project and tried to directly correct the resources and load into sisulizer project once. But i failed. Even though i could cread a new project that properly read recorrected resources of a project.
Please reply if any remidies are there to do.

regards
Anbu

Did you add a .resx file or .csproj file into Sisulizer project?

What was the error you got after you had modified your resouce file?

Dear jaakko

Thank you for your quick reply.

I added .csproj file into Sisulizer project. I dont get any error while rescanning. My problem is corrted fileds are not refleted on to my Sisulizer project. I write the steps what i did.

1.Created New Sisulizer project from .csproj(JPN version)

2.Modified resource file by Sisulizer and build project

3.Included created EN resources into my .sln file (Visual studio side)

4.Build and run my application (Worked fine)

5.Corrected control name of english string(.resx file directy) {eg: "Project" -> "Proj"}by visual studio Envt.

6.Build my VS solution and run the application ( The text "Project" is changed to "Proj" correctly)

7.Rescanned sisulizer for changes ( I expect the control name will be changed to "Proj" instead of "Project" of my Sisulizer solution, but it doesnt.)

By means the corrections made from Visual studio environment is not reflected to Sisulizer solution in my case.

This is my first time to use Sisulizer tool. Looking forward if there any possible ways to solve my problem.:)

Regards

Anbu

Hi Anbu,

I got your point. You modified the localized files outside Sisulizer and you want to import those translations into Sisulizer project.

You can do that. Choose Project | Import Translations from Localized files

When you perform scan (Project | Scan for change) process Sisulizer only reads the original resources (in your case the Japanese resources). Normally you donät modify the localized resource file outside Sisulizer but use Sisulizer's editor to change the value and finally perform Sisulizer's build process to create new localized resource files. However if you have modified the localized resources files you have to manually import the values using the menu command above.

Hope this helps you.

Dear jaakko

Thanks for reply.

I tried Project | Import Translations from Localized files option to import .resx (EN) file, but i couldn't :?. Anyway with your idea, I used File | Import option and manually  import the .resx file into Sisulzer. Got problem solved :). Thanks once again for quick advice.

Regards

Anbu;)
