When translating a program (base language is English) into 5 languages it would be lovely if we could change some of the base language too. By working very intensely with the program to create 5 extra languages, I found that sometimes the original english text could be improved too. Right now I have to go back into the source code (via a resource tuner) and change it there and then update in Sisulizer, but it would be very convenient if I could make those minor changes in the text right in Sisulizer. Hope this makes sense Loes

Hi Loes, there is a conflict between our promise never to change the source files of your projects for security reasons and your wish ;-) We have thought a lot of times about such feature, but the result is always the same. The sources of the project are holy and we should never ever change it. The only one changing them should be the author - you. Sisulizer only reads your sources or binaries and creates new files from it in the build process. Best Markus

Thanks for the quick reply! I ddn't think of the security reason and yes, that makes sense of course. And not only for security reasons: it would be a nightmare if I made a mistake in Sisulizer in the base resource. So I'll just go on the way I have been doing this: change the base file outside Sisulizer. Thanks again, Loes

Perhaps you can use the comment fields in Sisulizer to write the problems your translators find while translating. Then we only need to convince the developers of Sisulizer about some new feature where these comments can be exported into some report. Perhaps they like the idea because the same problem happens here also. In the moment we send emails if we detect some flaw in the source language column while translating Sisulizer into German. Best Markus
