Hi,

especially with bigger forms it would be an improvement if the editor-window could be a floating window and (optionally) could be displayed on a second screen.

Regard,

Josef Gschwendtner

this is very good news.

One more idea:

If I select the root node within the project-tree, then only the translation grid is shown (not the WYSIWYG editor window). This seems to be the right solution at the moment.

But beeing a floating window, it would be great if even in this situation forms would be shown in this floating WYSIWYG editor window (maybe on another screen).

Staying on a "strings-context" the editor-window would be empty.

Regards,

Josef

Hi Josef,

I think here is a missunderstanding. The translation grid will not be floating but the text editor in the lower part of the interface (see screenshot). It will float like the other elements in that area already can now.

Best

Markus

yes this was a misunderstanding.

My initial wish was that the WYSIWYG display (with the delphi form shown) is able to float and can be moved on a second screen.

Regards,

Josef

Hi Josef,

we agree, that would be very nice. We already have that on our road map. But this will not be available in one of the next builds because it is a major change coming together with floating tool bars and more. That will take some time.

Best

Markus
