Does anyone have a list or recomendation on what companies are already using Sisulizer for translation. I'm finding a few traditional translation companies who want to use Excel spreadsheets but I'd rather get one that was familiar with Sisulizer. Cheers Dave

Hi Codestuff, it is pretty easy. Even if they do not list Sisulizer (and all the other software localizations tools) on their webs they will be happy to fullfil you demand to use Sisulizer. If you send out the free translation edition together with your strings every translator using Windows will be able to translate using Sisulizer. Don't let them push you to Excel files (while this is also possible to export- and import the results). You will have no WYSIWYG if you use that format. It is only convinent for the service provider to ask you questions they could see in the WYSIWYG themself. Why don't you try to make job offers at proz.com. It is the largest translator community and we know for sure that there are people knowing Sisulizer. If you want to go one extra step (one partner for each language instead one for all) you will be able to find not only LSPs but also freelancers on proz.com. I tell you no secret - these might be the same you hire indirectly via a LSP. But if you hire directly you have the advantage to read the reumees of the people who have a big influence on your success in a foreign country. Sure, LSPs also will choose wisely but that also has a price tag. Hopes this helps more than it confuses :-) Best Markus

Hi Dave, yes, that can be confusing. If you are new, also take care about the calculation of the price. Some translators calculate the count of source words while others count the words in the target language. There might be a big difference. I would always go for source count because it means that there is a sum upfront and you do not honour that the translator uses as many words as possible (What is special bad for software localization where space is limited). If you choose a translator make sure that his resumee shows a software translation history. If the vendor of your choice stats that he can work with one of our competitors (which are sometimes much longer on the market so the made it onto more lists) then they will be absolutely able also to use Sisulizer's free translation edition. The differences in the usage for translators are minor. Best Markus
