Hi Sisulizer Team. Do you have any experiences with the translation of InstallAware Files ? The enclosed translator from InstallAware has no database support, so it´s no possibilty for me to work with it. I plan to import the translation files into Sisulizer. But is there any possibilty to ignore variable texts ? Thank you for the files. Unfortunately I don't have any good idea. The reason is the file format. It is just a text file where each line contains a string. Some lines are empty and some lines seem to contains some variable names. The problem is that there is not context information and there is not data that would tell what are the lines that should be localized. Sisulizer can import data from a text file but there must be at least context + value or value in two languages in a single file. These setup translation files do contain only value in one language and no context. Jaakko |

I´m already working on a solution. I tried to copy / double each line by a tab. So the first row can get used as context and the second as translating text. But there´s still the problem with variable items. But these can get verified by the $ signs. (most of them) Every text between these $ signs is a program variable name. Is there a possibility in Sisulizer to ignore specific signs? They could also appear in translating text. (maybe like in HTML) |

Currently there is no easy way to ignore strings starting with $. Sisulizer uses regular expression to read text file so it is possible to enter regular expression that will ignore strings starting with $ but such expression would be very complex. Jaakko |

Good morning. It's a pity that there´s no easy way. So I have to find a way to modify the file before I import it. Don´t you think that this could be a good feature for further versions !? ;-) Thank you for your support.. Björn |
