I would like to request a new feature.

It would be great is Sisulizer keeps a timestamp for each row, for when it was added or changed because the row status of new/changed does not help me at all.

Typcially a developer has multiple cycles of development and builds before looking at the translation again, if a file is scanner multiple times the flags for new/changed no longer have meaning.

With the timestamp, I would then also like a filter, where I can set it to show only rows that have been added or updated since a date I can select, for example 1 January 2011.

Rather than browsing through 10.000 rows looking for changes I would only see maybe 200 rows where I can be sure something has been updated or added.

I think this is interesting idea. I'll forward it to our R&D.

Best regards,

Hi Janusz,

can anything be said if this is likely to be added anytime soon?

It would greatly reduce work for both myself and my translator, and this I think for other users of Sisuliser as well.

This feature was kind of promised to me when I ordered the product last year, and currently it is still not added.

Regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

I already asked our developers about this, and I wait on their answer.

Best regards,
Janusz

Hi,

It is some bigger change under the hood. As I understood it also means a change to the .SLP format what has to be done very carefully.

In respect to urgent problems we sometimes have to delay new features a little bit. I think you will appreciate if we prioritize things that cause trouble in scanning or building which can be show-stopper to users. The platforms improve all the time and we need to react very quick to these changes.

But it is really not forgotten. Last time I spoke Ilkka he was busy with that. We really try to make everybody 110% happy with Sisulizer what is sometimes an impossible mission by design :-)

Sorry for any inconvenience that may mean.

Markus

It was already implemented to build 331. If you would like see it in sheet you need select "Creation Time" and "Changed Time" columns via "View" menu -> "Sheet Columns..." or via "Sheet Columns" icon on sheet toolbar.

Ilkka also implemented time based filters. Those filters are available in new "Time" tab of filters dialog. You can open this dialog via "View" -> "Sheet Filters..." -> "Edit" or via appropriated button on Filter panel toolbar.

Re-scan project. Sisulizer add scan date & time as creation date.
