Hi. Sorry for the bothering with this stupid error message, but I´m not able to install the latest Sisulizer Version 2.0.295. My Sophos AntiVirus blocks the installation and directly removes the Sisulizer.exe. Can you imagine why this is happening ? Because of our administration, I´m not able to deactivate or stop the AntiVirus Software. Do I have to send the Sisulizer.exe as example to Sophos ? Here are some more Infos about the "virus": http://www.sophos.com/security/analyses/viruses-and-spyware/malbehav027.html Please give me an advise. Marry Christmas and happy new year Björn Attachment: VirusWarning.JPG (Downloaded 53 times)

Hi Björn, You are punished by some false positive. Not much we can do against that. Virus protectors search for binary byte codes. If an application hits that byte code accidently the virus protector alerts you. With any build the byte codes in Sisulizer will change again. Since there are so many byte codes for so many viruses around the chances are always there that accidently false positives are caught. It would be very nice if you ask your virus tool vendor to correct their database to avoid this false positive. Sounds like had to do this before in other situations. What file is actually hurt by this. The installer exe itself or the to be installed Sisulizer EXE? If the installer is the problem, then we could mail you just the Sisulizer EXE. Since it does not have many dependencies you could simply copy it over the old binary. Markus

God morning and happy new year ! Unfortunately this problem belongs to the Sisulizer.exe file. I´m not able to install it, or to work with it because it´s blocked by Sophos. I´ve never had this before. Could you please try to find a solution. I need to work with Sisu. Björn

Björn, In Sophos, try to exclude the Sisulizer-Directory and/or the Sisulizer.exe from scanning by defining exceptions. I had to do this in two locations ("Konfigurieren"->"On-Access Überprüfung" and "Konfigurieren"->"On Demand-Erweiterungen und -Ausnahmen"). I'll try to contact Sophos about this issue. Hope that helps, Daniel

Hi Daniel ! Thank you very much for this tip ! Now it works. I was able to install Sisluizer and it´s also working without any warnings. Let´s hope that there will never be a virus in the Sisulizer folder ![]() Attachment: Settings.JPG (Downloaded 31 times)

Happy New Year Björn and Daniel, We also submitted the Sisulizer.exe to Sophos. Hope they fix that soon. It is good that you can work again... but all these prospects who are blocked from testing Sisulizer are a pain. Best Markus

Hi Folks, I got positive feedback from Sophos this morning. ------- Answer by Sophos ------- Hello Markus,Thank you for your email. As you mention, the file you submitted for analysis -Sisulizer.exe- were producing a false-positive report. An IDE that corrected this was released on the databanks yesterday, 'agen-mbv.ide'. Please advice your customers that reported this to clear the alert and update SAV and this file should no longer be detected. -------- I'm very glad the helped in a very fast, friendly and professional way. Btw: I used their online form. Seems Sophos is a company with a good organized support. Let's hope our next build does not hit their signature database again. Markus
