Language: C++/MFC

Hello,

I have a project with main language French.rc and other languages (english, german,...).

Using Visual Studio, I add a new MENUITEM and a POPUP menu.
=> New menu items are displayed correctly in Visual Studio.

I open my Sisulizer project and "Scan for Changes".
Sisulizer detects some modifications but:
=> Sisulizer is not able to add the new menu items correctly (some are misplaced, removed, replaced, ...)

What can I do ?

Thanks.
Regards,
Arno.

Hello Arno,

Could you send to us your source files (e.g. exe, rc, etc.) and SLP files packed as zip via Private Upload feature? We'll check it.

BTW:
Here is article about our upload system: http://www.sisulizer.net/reply.php?topic_id=2858

Best regards,
Janusz

Hello,

I have sent the files.

To reproduce:
Open the SLP project and inspect the menu. It is OK.

In the .rc files,

replace

IDR_MAINFRAME MENU
BEGIN
POPUP "&Environnement "
BEGIN
MENUITEM "Configuration", 15112
MENUITEM SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "&Priorités", 15114
POPUP "&Edition"
BEGIN
MENUITEM "Configuration Imprimante", 15132
MENUITEM "En-tête", 15136
MENUITEM "Ordre d'édi&tion", 15169
END
POPUP "Co&mptes"
BEGIN
MENUITEM "&Droits", 15134
MENUITEM "&Mot de passe", 15135
END
END
END

by:

IDR_MAINFRAME MENU
BEGIN
POPUP "&Environnement "
BEGIN
MENUITEM "Configuration", 15112
MENUITEM SEPARATOR
MENUITEM "&Priorités", 15114
POPUP "&Edition"
BEGIN
MENUITEM "Configuration Imprimante", 15132
MENUITEM "En-tête", 15136
MENUITEM "Ordre d'édi&tion", 15169
END
POPUP "MyNewWindow"
BEGIN
MENUITEM "SubMenu1", 33000
MENUITEM "SubMenu1", 33001
END
POPUP "Co&mptes"
BEGIN
MENUITEM "&Droits", 15134
MENUITEM "&Mot de passe", 15135
END
END
END

=> In Sisulizer, click on "Scan for Changes" and inspect the menu
=> It is not correct :(

Hello,

Thank you for files. Generally, all items (new and old popup menus) exists in SLP after scan, but:
  • old popup menu (POPUP "Co&mptes") subitems get New status flag.
  • in new popup (POPUP "MyNewWindow") popup title item get Changed stasus - Sisulizer it treats as old, but changed POPUP "Co&mptes" popup title item.
Reason is order of menus (new is inserted before old popup). When you add new popup (POPUP "MyNewWindow") after old (POPUP "Co&mptes") scan works well.
I'll forward it to our R&D.

Janusz

Thank you for answer.

In awaiting of a solution, we are going to add manually the new popup / menuitems directly in the SLP file.

Regards,
Arnaud.

I implemented a new option. By default it's unchecked but checking it the captions of a popupmenus will be used as part of contexts. After that you can insert new popupmenus between old ones without problems.

This new options will become in the next build (336).

regards
Ilkka
