Hi,

I just tried the new file type "Android Values" in Sisulizer in the current build. There are 3 issues (will upload a demo project later):
  • string-Elements with HTML Content are ignored (not showed in the list of translation items). Example:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<resources>
    <string name="close_app">Do you want to close <i>my app</i>?</string>
    <string name="download_started">Starting download</string>
</resources>
  • There seems to be a problem with slmake
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Sisulizer 4\SlMake.exe" scan -q -a -e -include:"..\Android\xxxxx\src\main\res\values\arrays.xml" "..\..\Translation\testslp"

Unknown error. Call stack:
0048270d +0045 SlMake.exe   Classes     ClassNotFound
0048279b +0013 SlMake.exe   Classes     FindClass
004ff645 +0005 SlMake.exe   LaObject    TLaObject.Construct
00baeb3c +0378 SlMake.exe   Project     TProject.ReadXml
005702e6 +0006 SlMake.exe   LaXmlObject TLaXmlObject.ReadXmlFrom
00bad755 +01cd SlMake.exe   Project     TProject.LoadFromFile
00ce438e +2452 SlMake.exe   CmdMake     TSlMake.Process
00cf9b4d +00ad SlMake.exe   SlMake      initialization
753d7c02 +0022 KERNEL32.DLL             BaseThreadInitThunk

  • The output files don't follow the rule set in the properties of the source "Output Files". In the Properties I set "<dir>\<sl>\<name>-<sl>.<ext>", Sisulier generates c:\.....\mydirectory-de\strings.xml
Please help (and provide a beta)

thx
kind regards

Hi,

If you want to embeed HTML in XML you need to encode it or use CData.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4412395/is-it-possible-to-insert-html-content-in-xml-document

Hope this helps

Markus

Hi Markus,

thx, but this feature works with XML Sources (which I used until now), not with the new "Android Values" sources.

I tried to migrate from XML Sources to the new support for android Ressource Files, and faced the 3 issues. Please check. I uploaded a test project.

kind regards
Marius

Hello Marius,

The output files don't follow the rule set in the properties of the source "Output Files". In the Properties I set "<dir>\<sl>\<name>-<sl>.<ext>", Sisulier generates c:\.....\mydirectory-de\strings.xml
I reproduced this issue. Sisulizer always uses default output file pattern name. I'll ask our CTO about this.

Janusz

string-Elements with HTML Content are ignored (not showed in the list of translation items).
You are right. Your example string is available in sheet, when source type is set as XML, but this same string is not visible after selecting Android Values as source type.
