Hi,

I'm currently testing the function "Import translations from localized files". I'm very happy with the results apart from the fact that, im my case, the positions of the dialog resources are also "imported". The function "Import translations from a file" provides the setting "Import only strings" which is what I am looking for. Am I missing something or is there another way around this?

Michael

Hello,

Yes, this feature import all localized items also Integers (for example, position, width, etc.). If you do not want import those items, you can:
  • Disable localization of integer numbers before using of "Import translations from localized files". After import you could optionally enable localization of Integers, if you need. You can do it via “Project” menu -> “Edit source” -> your source -> “Excluded Types” tab. Here is article about this: https://www.sisulizer.net/reply.php?topic_id=3755
  • Use Import Wizard ("File" menu -> "Import") for import translations from localized sources instead "Import translations from localized files".
Best regards,
Janusz

Hi Janusz,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the link you provided is, as far as I can see, the link to this topic. Could you have a look into it.

I've now come across another problem, simular to this one. How do I exclude a resource type (in my case RT_RCDATA) from being imported for all source files? My project has around 200 DLLs and EXEs and I don't want to exclude this resource type individually for all those files.

Best regards,
Michael

Sorry, my mistake. Here is correct link: https://www.the-localization-tool.com/how-i-can-speed-up-work-with-my-big-sisulizer-project/

You can do it only separately for each source included to project via "Resources" tab in the source properties dialog.

Janusz
