I track the slp file in git. On each scan for changes Sisulizer updates the date for every node that has been changed.

This becomes an issue as we need to merge between branches.

Is there a way around this?

Thanks in advance.

The info when the last time an entry was changed should be up-to-date. I can`t think of any good work-around without breaking the whole system.

What about the moving blocks of text? After either a scan or a build resources everything seems to move around. It makes it impossible to merge between branches.

This is also by design. I'll ask our R&D if they have some idea.

Perhaps it is related to this:

Do you use the latest build?

I am using the latest build. How do I turn sorting off?

So far I understood R&D in the other thread its an option in the Options dialog -> Project - Edit Source -<your source> - Options - Sort items.

Excerpt from help:

Sort items If checked Sisulizer adds the resource items alphabetically to the resource string node. If unchecked the items are added in the same order as they appear in the original file. Only used with .resx resources.
Hope this does the trick

Markus

The issue seems to be with all file types, not just resx.

Any ideas?
