Hi,

We are using Sisulizer Enterprise to localize our mostly Dutch apps to English, German and French. We have been using the regular editor, exporting and importing translations etc. and all works fine. Right now I am trying to get the Form editor up and running, so I can provide more context for our translators. However, this is not working so far. Forms are mostly just empty rectangles all bunched up together with no discernible text (see image).

We work with .NET and import the .sln file to create the Sisulizer projects. Is there anything I need to do or set differently to make our forms visible in the Form editor? I tried mapping, but I think there should be some way to do that automatically, because there are just too many components. And what I do map does not seem to have much effect on the overall picture.

I've tried searching the forum and your site, but perhaps I am just too new to Sisulizer to find what I am looking for.

Hope you can help!

Hello,

The Sisulizer only emulate visual behavior of dialogs and other GUI components in our Visual Editor. We support all standard components, bu many vendors provide lot of custom components. We try support them too, and we already have special program for third party component's vendors and here is our website about this: http://www.sisulizer.com/localization/software/third-party-control-support.shtml
Our developers tries continuously update list of supported components. However we usually can't do it without help of component vendors. Usually text items from unknown or not supported third party components are available in sheet, but there is no visual previews for those components. Alternatively user can try manually map component, but it could be sometimes hard and gives unsatisfactory results. Optionally, we can have a look at your files, if you we'll send it to us. We need for this your source (.NET) files and Sisulizer project file (slp). Here is article about our upload system: https://www.the-localization-tool.com/tech-support-and-using-our-upload-form/

Best regards,
Janusz
