when we originally translated our software into Spanish, we did so for Mexico, now we have a request in Spain and I would like to use the existing translations that have been done for Mexico and copy them into Spain. Then anything we can handle the regional quirks

Sure,

there are many ways. One is:

Use View - <Spanish> ... <Spanish (Mexico) (there is a lit at the end of the view menu, your list may vary) to show more than one target language at one time. Simply check them you want to use.

Then go to the root in the left tree view.

Select all rows in one column

Use Copy to copy these rows the the clipboard

Paste them to the target column.

Hope this helps

Markus

Thanks, I went to add a new Spanish language and I don't see one for Catalan Spanish. Is there a way to add to the selection list ?

Hello,

Open "Tools" menu -> "General" -> "Languages" tab and check "Use sub language when a language has only one sub language" option. This allows you add "Catalan (Spain)" to your project via "Project" menu -> "Languages".

Best regards,
Janusz
