Hi,

We need both project files (slp) in a zip. Send it using the Private Upload button right above this post.

Please also provide this info:

A) Sisulizer build and Edition you use
B) The steps we have to do to reproduce the error with your files

We will then look into it

Markus

Hello,

Could you again upload TeoWinFrancesabierta.slp file? We got this file with 0 size.

Best regards,
Janusz

Hello,

Thank you for files, I imported your one project to second project without problems, but I have fast machine with 16 GB RAM (Windows 64-bit). The Sisulizer is 32-bit application, but it can use 4 GB of RAM. Your SLP files are very big and for this reason Sisulizer used ~2GB RAM during import. You could try fix issue in following ways:
  • Move Sisulizer and your SLP to 64-bit machine with at least 8 GB RAM
  • Remove unnecessary resources from your SLP files. You have included all possible data types to your SLP. Usually, Binary data, Fonts, Pictures are not changed in localized versions, while they can significantly increase size of project and memory usage. For doing this, right click on your source item in the Project Tree, click "Properties" item in context menu and go to "Excluded Types" tab. Here, check unnecessary data types (e.g. like on attached screenshot) and re-scan project. Then repeat those steps for all other sources in your SLP.
Best regards,
Janusz

A goodidea is to update to Sisulizer 4 since it can make use of more memory than Sisulizer 3. You can give it test drive with our eval edition.

Hi,

thank you for your kind answer. The thing is that we also tried it with a pc with 64 bits and 16 gigabyte RAM, but it didn't work either.

However, for the second option you gave me, we have more tan 200 executable files. Is ther any way to it globally?

Sisulizer 3 can only use ~2Gb (standard for 32-bit applications). Sisulizer 4 nearly can double this with a trick. That makes a big difference.

Also there might be fixes in Sisulizer 4 that make it work. Janusz could not reproduce it with Sisu 4 and we can`t support (e.g. test with it) Sisulizer 3 anymore.

thank you, Markus, but Janusz gave me the following option:
Remove unnecessary resources from your SLP files. You have included all possible data types to your SLP. Usually, Binary data, Fonts, Pictures are not changed in localized versions, while they can significantly increase size of project and memory usage. but we need to know how to do it globally.

we dont need to update to sisu 4 at the momento.

These options are independently set when you add new source to project or later via Source properties (described in my previous post). They are always set per source, do you can't change it globally for all sources in project.
