I have RESX file in Visual Studio 2015 and there is a text item with comment.

I scan this resx with Sisulizer 4.0.371, I can see text items but Row Comment in Sisulizer is empty.

In my opinion and according some older Sisulizer documentation, Row Comment should be scanned from RESX comment column.

Can you please FIX it?

Hi Markus,
That is my fault. The SLP project was set to read resources from myproject.resources and not myproject.resx Compiling in Visual Studio from myproject.resx to myproject.resources is loosing the comment.

So do you recommended approach to map project in Sisulizer to resx file (or csproj file) instead of myproject.resources file?

Hi,
it is recommended to use Project localization (csproj) on the .NET platform. This way Sisulizer can find all the needed information.
Hope this helps
Markus

I am also having this problem, but I do not have access to csproj. Is there any way to fix it when all I have is the resx file?

Hello,
our C # application consists of 96 solutions. Each project contains a * .csproj and a * .sln.
In order to be able to see the comment from the Visual Studio file * .resx in the Sisulizer, we should open the * .csproj 96 times?
Have I understood that correctly?

You can localize all *.resx files in a directory and its sub-directories.
While it is better to localize the  Visual Studio project and let pick up all .resx files it references.
