Hi, I'm currently testing Sisulitzer as translation tool for or software and also for CHM documentation. While trying it, I have script issues not existing in original CHM. Is it a problem of the trial version? How to be sure? Thanks for feedback Steph! |

Possible, if the eval string is placed in your strings. Please zip your chm plus slp and send it using the private upload button right above this post. Our support team will give it a try. Markus |

Hello, I can't tell more without additional info for now. Could you send to us your source CHM and Sisulizer output CHM file files via Private Upload button? Please, also attach detailed info(or optionally screenshot, etc.) about location of issue/potential bug. Here is article about our upload system: https://www.the-localization-tool.com/tech-support-and-using-our-upload-form/ Is it a problem of the trial version? How to be sure? Hmm, actually this is possible, the Sisulizer adds info about trial version randomly to output files, and it could somehow break your script. Best regards, Janusz |

Hi Markus, I Send the files only once and only to you. Is it OK or should I also send to Janusz? Steph |

Please use the private upload button. Only the support team gets it that way. It us uploaded into a protected area only support can access. Do not send by e-mail. Markus |

Hi, Just tested the upload form. Works well... while we can`t find your upload. Please retry. Please check that after the upload the system comes back with a success message. Thanks Markus |

Hi Markus, Third Time without any success message. Any limitation (other than size)? Other way to send the files? Thanks, Steph |

Please try a different browser if having issues. Please make sure to zip the files. If the file is huge it can take a while and the result is either success or an error message. Since the system works fine now for 10 years we did not establish an alternative system. Markus |

Hi Steph, As we expected, issue is result of eval string added randomly by Sisulizer to the output file. On attached screenshot is example script decoded from your localized CHM file. It should working well with licensed version of Sisulizer. Best regrds, Janusz Attachment: script.png (Downloaded 11 times) |

Hi Janusz, I'm not anymore on trial version! I'm now using an Enterprise version, but I still have the script issue mention above. Can you have a look? I send you my project through private download. Regards |

Hello, Thank you for files. I reproduced this issue also with my own project based on your CHM file. Because your js scripts do not contain localizable items, so you can use following solution for fixing of this issue. Select your CHM node in the Project Tree and click Source properties icon on Project Tree toolbar. Next, go to "Options" tab and uncheck "Scan scripts" in the "HTML Help Options" section (as on attached screenshot). Next rescan your SLP project and build new output version. This should not only fix script issue, but also simplify your Sisulizer project. After scan, all items from js scripts will be visible in the Project sheet as Unused (marked by blue dots). If you want remove them from Sisulizer project, go to "Project" menu and click "Remove Unused Items". After unchecking "Scan scripts" options, Sisulizer still include scripts to output CHM file, but they won’t be analyzed and rebuild. BTW: I’ll forward this script issue to our developer. I also have the need to generate the CHI file. This is in the original hhp (included in the original CHM). Do you think this is possible? Thanks Steph |

If this file is valid HHP file (matched with HHP syntax and encoding), you can add it as second source to your existing Sisulizer project file in following way:

The problem is that I don't have the HHP. I could decompile but this is not my wish... In fact for compilation, I would just want to add the folowing options in HHP for compilation; [OPTIONS] Compatibility=1.1 Full-text search=Yes Binary Index=Yes Auto Index=No Enhanced decompilation=No Binary TOC=Yes Flat=No Create chi file=Yes This is what we do with Help&Manual. Thanks |

Hello, Hmm... Sisulizer is localization tool, not coding tool, and you can't change internal structure by adding new files etc. However, you can use following solution. If you go to CHM source properties dialog -> "Options" tab and uncheck "Create localized CHM file" in the "HTML Help Options" sections, you'll get separated output files (HHP, HTML, etc.) instead compiled CHM file. Next you can use third party tool, e.g. HTML Workshop, H&M etc. for include additional content and compiling targeted CHM file. Janusz |
