Hi!
It makes sense to keep translation project together with development project in Git repository because translation changes are closely related to new developments. However Sisulizer project file has some features that are not well suited for that.
Two things particularly stand out and complement each other:
1. Last scan time is kept in slp file. This is already mentioned in this forum but not as feature request. I propose a simple solution - keep the scan times in another file. Perhaps the .sds file.
2. Slp file can contain subprojects which can all be built together. This is very useful in build process. However this is also problem for Git because any change in one of the subprojects causes the whole file to be considered changed and stored in full (Git does not store diffs, it stores complete copy of changed file in each commit) in Git repo. This is not optimal as the slp file can be quite big. I propose a solution - make it possible to keep subprojects in separate slp files while one "main" slp file would contain subproject file names.

Git friendly Sisulizer would be amazing.
We have one .slp file with roughly ~850000 lines!
