Hello,

I use SLmake in my construction process (with nmake).
I have a rule that builds my resource files when they are older than the .slp file.
But if I use :
  slmake create myfile.slp
the resources are well generated but the .slp file is still saved at the end and as a result, it becomes more recent than the resources and nmake will restart SLMake next time.
Is it possible to tell SLMake not to save the .slp file?

Thank you.
Jean

 Jean,
it is a must that Sisulizer internally makes a "Scan for Changes" to be up-to-date. This can't be changed.
But there is a simple workaround. In your make file first make a temporary copy of the Sisulizer project file. Then use this to build your project. After the build is complete simply delete the copy. You will have your untouched original.
Hope this helps
Markus

Thank you for the answer.
I would have preferred a "--dont-save" option! Never mind.

This option would make the product inconsistent and it can cause side-effect in some situation.

As long as you don't use the output as input for some Sisulizer scan (what we don't recommend - but we know some do anyway) it should also not have a side effect.
Making a file copy in a batch should not be to hard anyway :-)
Markus
