We are using Sisulizer Enterprise edition version 4.0 to create translations for our desktop application (developed in Delphi) that we distribute globally.
We encountered an issue when a customer reported an error when starting our application. The error was as follows:

"Exception EEncodingError in module AxCeph.exe at 0003B2E9. No mapping for the Unicode character exists in the target multi-byte code page."

When running the same version of our application using the same translation files the app works fine.
OS is Windows 10 in both cases. I am using the english version and the customer i using the german version.

Do you have any tips on what might be causing the issue and how to solve it?

Sounds like some language pack is missing:

Hi Markus,

thank you for the fast reply. The customer is running german Windows 10 with english and german languge packs installed.

When running our application using the german translation (we have a language selector in the app) he gets the error from the original message.

Any other ideas?

Hi Markus,

you can close this topic. I have rebuild all translations again and tested at the customers and now it is working.

I still find it strange that it was working on my machine but not on his, but now it works on both.
Well sometime bits work in a mysterious ways.

Thank you for all the help.
