Hi
Is there any plans for a new version of Sisulizer in the near future?

Hello Lagge,
in my opinion, Sisulizer won't release any new versions in the (near) future.
Questions I've made in December last year still don't have any answer. One of the questions is about a the maximum string length, where Markus Kreisel posted: "...We know how to overcome the limit and we know that it means a lot of work and testing. The good news: It is already on our road map.".
His post is from Jan, 18th 2012!
No new information about that "roadmap" again.

My question to Markus Kreisel if Sisulizer is "dead" is still unanswered.
Another fact seams to be that there has been no major release since 2012 when version 4 has been published.
And the last update has been released in Dec. 2018! (According to: https://www.sisulizer.de/support/history.shtml).
All this brought our company to the decision to migrate to another application/vendor. And even we are still in the migration process we realized a lot of functions which will save us a lot of time and therefore money.
And we can get support incl. service level agreements so if we should have a problem, we don't have to get support by a forum which seams not to be monitored very good/often.
Hopefully this will "help" you a little.
Kind regards and have a nice day.
Nils

We also need to decide soon what we will do with Sisulizer and so I searched around and found this:
https://monks37.de/markus-kreisel-ist-tot/

Which shows that the main developer and CEO of Sisulizer died in February this year. Which explains that there is no answers to any of the posts or your questions, the forum seems now to be not moderated anymore and a target of spammers.

Sad to read this !
so I understand now the lack of responses.
Will sizulizer be continued anyway?
If there is anybody remaining, please let us know your plans as we will have to decide to go with another product.
Thanks a lot
Mike
