hi, it seems that using sisu on the latest D10.4.1 release does not work well..
as far as i can see resourcestrings become empty when run localised (other issues might as well surface)
button captions do appear translated...

we didn't really had this problem in a test run on 10.4.0
can someone please take a look at this since i'm facing a legal deadline of 1/1/2021 and i'm unable to deliver the needed upgrade of our app....

running sisu 4.0.374 (latest available)

tia,
marc

Hi Marc,

Embarcadero changed the code to access the resource strings in 10.4.1. It is now using a resource string caching, but unfortunately, it has a major bug that prevents loading resources from a resource DLL.

I reported this bug to Embarcadero a few months ago. Hope they will fix it in 10.5.

Until then, the solution is the disable the caching. You can read how from Soluling's documentation.
https://www.soluling.com/Help/Delphi/VCL.htm
Scroll down to get the code.

Best regards,
Jaakko

Hi Marc,

I wouldn't say a new Sisulizer but a new product that is similar to Sisulizer.

Yes I am a part of the Soluling development team.
The migration path is made easy. Soluling can convert a Sisulizer project file to a Soluling project file.
